**Meetings & Events Coordinator**

M&E Coordinator will work closely with M&E Sales Manager, Head of Sales and Reservations Team to maximise on revenue opportunities, spot and analyse market trends, through a proactive approach to client needs. He/she will also work closely with the hotel team and ensure bookings are completed to the highest standard with great attention to detail, in order to guarantee a smooth running of the event for the operations team and excellent guest experience. He/she will work towards set individual as well as team targets and KPI's to drive revenue across key areas.

An extremely rewarding, yet fast paced role, the M&E coordinator should be able to work under pressure in order to adapt to changing customer needs and deliver results in line with deadlines and targets, to maximise sales opportunities and revenue. Ability to handle multiple events at once & prioritise is a must.

**Main Duties of the role**
- Maintains** **an excellent business relationship and rapport with clients
- Handles incoming enquiries and conducts initial qualifying process to identify the client needs and expectations and convert into confirmed business
- Have full knowledge of the hotel offering, including event spaces, bedrooms, F&B, spa & gym in order to offer a bespoke experience & upsell
- Submitts proposals in line with client's requirements, negotiates effectively and actively drive activities with the objective to convert business
- Fully aware of departmental yearly, quarterly and monthly revenue goals, products and services
- Handles guests requests independently and proactively in line with agreed response times
- Conducts hotels/ venues site inspections, guests meetings and handles walk-in inquiries in a professional & confident manner
- Attends and provides support to any promotional activities as advised/required by the company
- Handles ad-hoc projects as assigned by the manager
- Maximizes up-selling opportunities whenever possible and follows the guidelines, methods and tools as set by the hotel
- Ensure banuet event orders are completed to the highest standard and with full attention to ensure all details are correct as agreed with client
- Works independently, well organized and initiates comunication through required channels for timely services delivery
- Maintain up to date information and reports acording to the company practices
- Comunicates acurately and timely with the manager in line
- Contributes ideas and feedback to the manager in line/ Head of Sales, on new or existing clients and potential future opportunities
- Maintains a cohesive working relationship with Sales, Marketing, Operations, F&B and any other department of the company
