**ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant**

Location: South Derbyshire, DE11

Pay Scale: £80-£95 per day

Start Date: ASAP

We are excited to offer a role within one of our partnered Primary Schools within the South Derbyshire area, who are searching for an ASD specialist teaching assistant to join a team of dedicated support staff. The role will involve working alongside their KS1 pupils with autism. The school will provide you and their pupils with excellent SEN facilities, and a warm, welcoming, inclusive community, designed to ensure the pupils achieve their highest potential.

You will be working close with SENDCo and teaching staff to assist pupils with their learning, as well as working with students on a 1:1 basis and small groups to guide them with their lessons.

The school will offer you consistent assistance and guidance, along with educational resources and facilities that can help enhance the learning experience of the pupils.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working within a school environment.
- Strong understanding of SEN.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- A passion to support children with learning needs.
- Confident in working with challenging behaviour.
