**THE ROLE**

To provide care as specified in the User’s individual service/care plan, to a high standard in accordance with Company policies and procedures. To lead a shift and delegate tasks to colleagues

Maintain effective communication with the Home Manager.

Support and assisting service users with all personal hygiene and continence care.

Ensuring the Service Users have given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all Service Users are treated with respect.

Carrying out tasks as specified in the Service User’s individual service/care plan, taking action to enable the Service User to carry out as much self-care and other activities as possible.

Contributing and updating accurate and detailed record keeping whilst maintaining the Service User’s privacy in accordance with our confidentiality policy.

Contributing to the team effort.

Liaising with all employees, Service Users and families to ensure that the above tasks are completed efficiently.

Administration of medication as prescribed and directed.

Respond to emergencies and provides guidance and support to colleagues.

Complete tasks in the daily diary.

Be a mentor for new staff and ensure best practice ways and information are shared.

Complete mandatory training.

Work towards being a champion in a delegated area by the Manager.

Attend allocated staff meetings

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: £10.10-£10.50 per hour
