London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Fire Safety Surveyor to join the Property and Compliance team.

This role will see you leading a team of risk assessors and external consultants to provide fire safety surveying expertise across the Council’s portfolio of 17,000 properties. This is a challenging role that will require you to engage with a range of key stakeholders, ensuring that all activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, and meeting the needs of our residents.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Managing team of experienced fire risk assessors / surveyors and overseeing the work of external consultants, whilst providing fire safety surveying management and guidance to other teams and external stakeholders.
- Providing support and advice to ensure LBHF housing stock is inspected, managed, and maintained in accordance with current fire safety legislation and any other appropriate Health and Safety Legislation.

**Role Specific Qualifications**:
Relevant technical professional qualification i.e. full membership to the IFE / CABE / CIOB / RICS / CIH and NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1 / FC2 or equivalent.
