Job overview

This is a new, exciting opportunity to join the Colorectal Cancer administrative and clerical team to support the provision of care on the Faster Diagnosis Service for cancer patients. The role is a 12 month fixed term contract, working 12 hours per week.

This role requires the individual to build strong working relationships with clinical teams around the Trust as well as other administrative teams. There is lots of opportunity to network and bring innovation into the current working processes.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative facilitation of the FDS tracking.

To assist and supervise the collation of all relevant documentation for team meetings.

Create correspondence as appropriate.

To liaise with the clinical team and patients.

To track the results of all genetic testing and to ensure these results are circulated and discussed as appropriate.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- Educated to A-level or equivalent standard A-C GCSE passes in Maths and English

Experience

Essential criteria
- Previous experience using all functions of Microsoft Excel
- Efficient organisation of meetings and other appointments within a very broad and dynamic agenda
- Experience in similar role

Communication

Essential criteria
- Ability to Prioritise / Work to tight deadlines

Planning & Organisational

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
