CNC Laser Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate laser cutting machines.
- Review work orders and determine job requirements
- Select appropriate laser cutting parameters and adjust machine settings as needed
- Load and unload materials onto the machine bed
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product
- Perform routine maintenance on the machines, such as cleaning lenses and replacing worn parts
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make any necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools for measuring
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
- Familiarity with various tooling used in laser cutting operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Ability to grind or deburr finished parts as needed

**Salary**: £13.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
