HR & Payroll Project Assistant

£40,000 - £45,000 Depending on Experience
Part-Time or Full Time
We are seeking someone with strong experience of HR Administration and Payroll systems to assist with a variety of project for an initial 6 month contract. The emphasis of this role is around helping the department manage and use the current systems more effectivelythrough a number of projects.
The role could be completed on a Part-Time or Full time basis but you must be able to work out of the Dunstable office at least two days a week with the rest of the days completed remotely.
The role will support the implementation and administration of various HR programs and/or activities within Payroll and HR.
Duties to include:
*Assisting with HR and Payroll systems management to ensure they are being used effectively.
*Helping develop and run HR /Payroll reports and analysis.
*Look at processes to gain efficiency in the department.
*Look at payroll Journals/reports/HR reports and make them streamline/ easy to run
*Run the payroll finance reports
*Support with Payroll audit.
*Play an active role in renewing company benefits - from renewal to implementation
*Support payroll when busy
*Assisting with administration
What we are looking for
*Must have previous experience of Payroll and HR systems, ideally you will have experience for implementing and developing reports.
*Previous experience of Compensation and Benefits would be advantageous i.e. helping manage renewals and communicating to the business.
*Sound Excel Spreadsheet skills
*A can-do attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
*Some project management experience
