Day Surgery Practitioner

We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic staff to join our Day Surgery Unit Team at Prince Charles Hospital.

An opportunity has arisen for motivated, registered nurses to join our busy team in the Day Surgery Unit section of the Operating Theatres team.

This post will involve caring for Day Case patients from admission to discharge guided by the Day Surgery operational policy.

The post holder will be required to work independently and autonomously to ensure patients care is given in a timely manner to ensure the nurse-led discharge is undertaken safely and efficiently to ensure patient flow is maintained throughout the unit.

The post will involve setting up and moving lots of different types of equipment. This includes moving patients on trolleys from the unit to other areas within the hospital to ensure an effective and efficient service for patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
