Materials Coordinator

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Great Yarmouth, are currently seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to join their Supply Chain Department, for a 12-month FTC.

This is a full-time role, working 8-hour days, Monday - Friday.

The Materials Coordinator will be expected to perform material management activities of stock held at different storage sites.

These material management activities include (but are not limited to):

- Identifying materials required by offshore platforms as per requests
- Developing and updating material masters held in SAP
- Executing transportation requirements

**Key Responsibilities for the Materials Coordinator Include**:

- Identification of materials, as well as creating and updating material masters within SAP MM
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, mark up and store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Liaise with onshore and offshore Supervisors/personnel to identify requirements that can be filled by materials held in the warehouse
- Good housekeeping skills, whilst also taking responsibility as key holder for storage sites
- Maybe required to be on call for evenings and weekends

**Required Experience/Qualifications**:

- Do you have a proven track record within warehouse operations materials management? (Ideally from within the supply chain logistics industry)
- Are you computer literate with well-developed IT skills across Microsoft suite, specifically Excel?
- Do you have product knowledge in relation to gas production spares?
