Due to rapid growth, we’re on the lookout for a Build QA to join our kick-ass team at Nutshell. This is an exciting new role, ideal for someone who wants to make a big impact.

**What’s it all about?**
Our Build Team is the beating heart of our business - the geniuses who build great apps for our lovely clients and support customers through any issues. As our Build QA, you’ll be in charge of rigorously testing the Apps we’re building, ensuring bugs are eliminated and everything is in great shape before go-live day.You’ll also be required to interpret any client issues before creating and executing relevant test cases. In addition to this, you’ll offer product support to customers too using all available resources to effectively troubleshoot their issues.This is a dynamic role and a great opportunity to join a lovely team and a friendly, ambitious company.

**Key responsibilities**
- Take ownership of Build Team testing strategy
- Be proactive in troubleshooting and solving issues
- Tracking app build progress against allocated timescales
- Recreate any found issues in a test environment to help the build team make fixes
- Help the Build Team to ensure service desk tickets are handled
- Share learnings and feedback with the wider team
- Participate actively in show and tell meetings and feedback sessions with clients
- Go above and beyond to delight Nutshell customers

**Essential Skills and experience**
- Mobile and web app testing
- Writing and executing test cases
- Sound knowledge of testing methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Jira
- Javascript knowledge (or willing to learn)

This is a hybrid role requiring both working from our Gateshead office and home working.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
