An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Core Facilities Team at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Technical Officer - **NMR **Biomolecular Analysis - Analytical Core Facility**.

Working in specialist laboratories, workshops, studios and IT facilities, our technical professionals play a key role in supporting, guiding, and advising across our University, from sciences, art, design and technology, through to sports, ceramics, nursing and physiotherapy.

**The Role**:

- Support teaching and funded research as a specialist in biomolecular analysis using nuclear magnetic resonance, chromatography and other related techniques.
- General maintenance of the instruments and equipment
- Sample preparation and analysis
- Consumables, and general orders, equipment ordering, QC checks, health and safety and administration will also feature in this role.
