JOB TITLE: Migration, Planning and Execution Lead

LOCATION(S): Chester / Manchester / Leeds

SALARY: £73,000 - £86,000

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least

two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

About this opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Migration Planning & Execution Lead to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

In this critical role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition for our customers as we switch scheme providers. Your primary focus will be on designing, mobilising, and delivering a brilliant conversion experience, ensuring that our customers remain at the forefront of every decision.

As a key player bridging product management and technology, you'll bring together end-to-end customer and risk outcomes, driving innovation and excellence throughout the migration process.

You'll have a unique opportunity to shape the investment spend and profile of our Cards business, with accountability for delivering a significant portion of our tech modernisation agenda. This includes overseeing key strategic imperatives such as trades journey, product wallet enablement, and more, as we strive to enhance our offerings and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key responsibilities:
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that our customers are at the heart of everything we do.- Drive our mobile-first agenda, crafting a seamless and coherent experience across the customer lifecycle.- Developing and delivering budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.- Helping to meet the needs of customers through a range of products and services.- Taking responsibility for implementing a team's formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.- Identifying shortcomings, then suggesting and implementing improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering outcomes within the organisation's change management programme.- Managing the development and operation of knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues.- Developing and delivering a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
- Setting medium term objectives and takes responsibility for implement a team's performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.- Delivering required outcomes while reporting to senior colleagues.- Assisting in the design and implementation of a compliance programme while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards by liaising with the regulator and supervising the activities of a regulatory/compliance team.- Developing a contingency plan for significant aspects of the risk management and control process.- Developing and delivering elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues.- Coordinating across multiple teams to develop medium-term and long-term work schedules that help the organisation achieve its priorities and fulfil its business plans.

What you'll need- A passion for customer experience.- Experience of payments innovation.- A proven track record of driving future business, driving meaningful change, and delivering exceptional value to customers.- Experience of managing financial budgets with associated planning and delivery of required targets.- A Cards background would be desirable.
