Join the dynamic Onboard Experience team as Head of Hospitality and Product, where you will play a vital role in defining and driving our onboard customer experience strategy that includes hospitality design and development, product development, food and drink programmes - across all our cabins.

The successful postholder will establish, implement and maintain a differentiated hospitality strategy for all cabins in line with the corporate brand. Utilising your experience within Hospitality, you will lead the definition, design and development of the inflight product portfolio incorporating the hospitality design principles for British Airways cabins.

Tapping into your experience and knowledge within menu/ product development, you will be responsible for the design and signatures of the culinary and beverage proposition, ensuring that the nominated suppliers consistently deliver to the required specifications.

You will be required to utilise customer, competitor and commercial data / insights as well as food, technology and soft product trends to drive innovation, and therefore financial acumen and the ability to analyse and present complex data is vital for this role.

Duties will include
- Leading the end-to-end inflight product and service experience for each cabin from concept through to successful execution ensuring that they are benchmarked to deliver personalised and bespoke to the British Airways brand.
- Managing the definition of the meal codes, special meal strategy, menu profiles and ancillary culinary design and definition approvals and standards.
- Holding accountability for strategic contract and relationship management with multiple suppliers worldwide, negotiating and managing a range of investments and Service Level Agreements

Experience and extensive knowledge within Hospitality (Menu/ Product Developer, Food & Beverage Manager) is crucial for this role and the successful postholder will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ hospitality experience with a reputed chain front of house. Experience within Fine Dining/ Michelin level food service, as well as experience within Airline will be an advantage.
