Based in Worcester, GL supply to developers, electrical contractors and wholesalers nationwide. We are looking to a recruit a **Sales & Customer Service Assistant** to join our team.

Working with the Sales & Customer Service team you will be a pivotal point of contact for external and internal customers. You will be providing a comprehensive high level of customer service. You will work cohesively with the accounts department on the return of goods and credit/debit notes.

The role will include filling and general office duties which are deemed as a reasonable request.

**Key Responsibilities and Skills**

**Dimensions**:

- Handling important administrative tasks such as order processing and acting as an extension of the sales team when representatives are away from the office
- Providing the crucial point of contact for our customers with queries concerning orders or deliveries
- Contributing to quality customer service and assisting the sales team meet its targets
- Ensuring that orders include the accurate prices, discounts, and product numbers when entered into the company’s accounting system (SAGE)
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner and processing payments over the phone
- Make accurate cost calculations and provide customers with quotations
- Ensuring invoices are raised / posted accurately and in a timely manner
- Work with Sales & customer Leader regarding return of stock. Attend regular team meetings and share best practice with your colleagues
- Work cohesively the accounts team to ensure they are given accurate information in a timely manner
- Provide sales & administrative support to the Sales Team
- Promote and introduce products via direct selling to generate new business
- Ensure warm leads/new business are logged in Salesforce with correct data updated and logged
- Keep a robust database with various opportunity pipelines
- Working closely with the wider Sales team, act as the Decorative Lighting key point of contact
- Work closely with Marketing to improve the customer journey on the Green Lighting website
- Oversee all Decorative Lighting marketing collateral
- Responsible for all Trio Decorative Lighting stock and supplier relationship
- Complete regular competitor analysis and research
- Any other duties that are deemed as a reasonable request

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Administration: 1 year (preferred)

**Qualifications**
- GCSE’S / A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Measures**
- Volume of new business won
- Level of customer engagement
- Website engagement
- Completeness and accuracy of existing databases/salesforce

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Salary dependent on experience.
- Your holiday entitlement is 28 days pro rata
- Your hours of work are 37 ½ hours per week, including a ½ an hour as a lunch break.
- Entry in to the company performance bonus scheme on completion of probationary period.
- Enrolment on suitable continual professional development courses.
- Office based role to start as early as possible
- Promotional opportunities dependant on skills set

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday

0830am - 1630hrs

(It may be necessary on occasions to work outside these hours, but this will be discussed with your line manager)

The Company may in its absolute discretion and from time to time require you to perform duties which may fall outside of your job title and/or job description. These duties will be deemed as a reasonable request.
