An exceptional opportunity to become a Finance Admin within a US Law firm in the City of London has arisen. This role will allow you to utilise pre-existing skills, while also gaining additional knowledge through a combination of supporting a busy and variedoffice, and working closely alongside other members of the finance department. Initially a 3-month contract role, this position is very likely to be made permanent.

**FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR**

The successful finance admin will be responsible for providing a high-quality and timely service across the accounting department, in regard to completing business invoices. This role will also involve credit control and billing aspects when required dueto an overlap with the Revenue department. You will have several additional important responsibilities, including:

- Ensuring that invoices are posted in a timely manner, alongside ensuring that clients are expensed correctly
- Accurately maintaining the Purchase Ledger
- Assist with expense claims, cheque requisitions and other banking related admin
- Supporting the wider finance team in day-to-day duties as required
- Meet deadlines and negotiate alternate timeframes when necessary

**FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR**

A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant legal financial experience is essential for this role, as is an understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and VAT rules. Other essential skills required by the finance admin include:

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Excel in particular is essential, with data analysis, PIVOT tables, and similar tasks being required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prioritising and initiative, with a high level of self-discipline
- Flexibility and teamwork
- Ability to work to fairly tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
