**Job title**: Continuous Improvement Manager

**Position Summary**

Are you a dynamic leader wanting to join a fast-paced manufacturing team? Do you possess strong leadership and team building skills? You will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers,peers, partners, and direct reports. And help manage, develop, and motivate employees.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and a culture of continuous improvement for health & safety.
- Ownership for maintenance team ensuring the accountability and deliverables for direct reports are met.
- Delivery of differentiated service offering for operational teams with a clear focus on equipment reliability and end stock availability.
- Be a visible and approachable figurehead for the site, lead by example.
- Utilise systems and resources to proactively maintain and conserve capital equipment, including driving pro-active preventive maintenance and repair programs.
- Prioritise issues and activities to develop sustainable improvement in equipment performance.
- Identify, lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organisational effectiveness in meeting company goals and enterprise initiatives.
- Create and implement strategic initiatives aligning team-based processes to drive operational strategies and continuous improvement.
- Proactively direct the resolution of operational, quality, and maintenance issues to ensure effective management of cost and prevention of operational delays.

**Experience**
- Must have experience in continuous improvement through methodology such as LEAN with demonstrated examples of managing through change within a manufacturing environment. Ideally Six Sigma champion
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in complex project management in a production and/or manufacturing industry.
- Motivated individual who is flexible and willing to learn continuous/lean best practices.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, self-motivated and a positive attitude.
