- £35,000-£40,000 per annum based on 30 hours per week depending on skills & experience.

The Client offers their customers a tailored service from design for manufacture support to manufacturing and full customer delivery for sheet metal work, electromechanical assemblies and precision machined components. As Finance Manager you will be a key member of the team.

**The Finance Manager’s main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Manage financial information to ensure consistency and review by the Board.
- Preparing the monthly management profit and loss, balance sheet reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts along with budgets and forecast preparation.
- Liaise with auditors throughout the year.
- Liaise with Tax Accountants ensure accurate and appropriate returns
- Liaise with Bank and report monthly performance and covenant analysis.
- Review and amend as appropriate all Legal Agreements
- Review on a periodic basis the existing company insurances
- Review and comment by weekly meeting debtors and creditors
- Managing and training staff where & when necessary
- Support with HR
- Ensure all statutory requirements are undertaken and submitted

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- A degree and experience in the financial field, and a chartered account, management accountant or certified management account qualification is essential.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing operation is desirable.
- Understanding of law and contracts as well as experience working with legal documents is desirable, but not essential.
- An analytical mind
- High degree of numeracy
- Ability to think on their feet and convert such to implementation
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Commercial and business awareness
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
