WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This will involve ensuring that:

- Pre-series vehicle build state and maintenance state are known at all times and that good documentation standards are maintained;
- Supporting equipment, including vehicle fitted Government Furnished Equipment, is available to meet trials requirements;
- There are detailed plans for maintenance, inspections and logistics of the pre-series vehicles in place supported by the correct resource types to complete the plan;
- Trials processes, specifically around authority to use and platform certification, are followed;
- Resources and personnel are available to support the trials;
- Reporting on vehicle state and prioritisation of activities where required, in order to meet the trials schedule.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- You must hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent experience
- You must have experience working with tracked armoured vehicles, specifically managing their maintenance.
- You must have experience in writing technical reports and presentations e.g. for technical progress meetings.
- Experience with the Challenger 2 platform design or operation, or other Armoured Fighting Vehicles, is highly desirable
- An understanding of UK Legislation and standards associated with Armoured Vehicle testing
- Must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
- Proficient user of MS Office is essential
