Residential Children's Home Manager

Bright Selection is delighted to be working with high achieving childcare provider in their appointment of a Registered Manager for an established and well performing Children's home in Bromley.
Our client is a family owned business, with a number of services including educational sites that all have 'Good' or 'Outstanding' OFSTED ratings across Kent. As such they are seeking an experienced manager to join them in continuing to make a positive differenceto the children they support. The home is located in beautiful area and provides excellent care for young people.
**Requirements**:
- Previous leadership and management experience
- Management Qualification
- Training in supportive skills (i.e. counselling)
- Basic knowledge of IT
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant regulation and legislation
- Up to date knowledge of Childcare & Child Protection Laws
- Child related/Social care qualifications
**Responsibilities**:
- Registration as Registered Manager with OFSTED
- Leadership and management of care and support team
- Engage and create meaningful and therapeutic activities for young people living at the service
- Management of financial resource and budget
- Work positively with external agencies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
