Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a **Visitor Operations Assistant **to join our **Visitor and Audience Operations **team.
To provide a world class experience and service for all internal and external stakeholders who come to the Globe campus.
**We have a number of Full-Time and Part-Time contracts available.**
Owing to the nature of the role, the job holder may be requested to work longer hours and flexibly. This role will require year-round regular evening and weekend work. The post-holder will be required to stand up for long periods and will include manual handling. Consideration will be given to the requirements of the role and whether adjustments could be made.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of events and performances planned for the Globe Theatre and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and has excellent customer service skills. The right person for this role will obtain excellent product knowledge and use proactive selling to maximize sales, support the smooth running of the guided tour programme by working alongside the guides and passing on any operational feedback and development to the management team.
The Visitor and Audience Operations department is made up of a large operational team encompassing the management and delivery of the tours, performance and event operations, and is responsible for a large volunteer team. It also supports the Retail function and wider Globe activities and provides Duty Management for the site. The team collaborate closely with other departments to bring the highest standards of audience experience in the delivery of all the Globe’s work.
