Our client, a specialist food wholesale company have an immediate requirement for a permanent **Logistics Coordinator** to join their team.

Reporting to the Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

- Speaking to and following up with the Clearing Agent
- Requesting Pins
- Booking vehicles
- Organising drivers
- Maintaining constant and consistent communication with the Warehouse
- Resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Communicating delays to relevant departments
- Making follow up calls and updating database accordingly
- Keep detailed, organised records or orders of stock
- Dealing with queries and enquiries that arise
- Coordinating supply chain with team members and other departments where necessary
- Maintaining positive business and customer relationships
- Communicating with drivers and ports with updated information
- Health and safety Procedures

Qualifications and Experience required:

- Business Qualification in marketing, economics or other related field
- Previous logistics experience
- Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional organisational skills

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

**Salary**: £21,000-£25,000.
