**Who will you be supporting?**
- We are different in lots of ways which is what makes us unique, with our ages ranging between 23 to 31.
- We are all mobile and quite independent only needing verbal prompts.
- We all have different challenges in our lives which include autism, Learning disabilities and mental health

- We like to go shopping, cinema, meals out, Parties, the theatre and just socialising in general
- We all have different day centres that we like to go to, Our weekly planner is always full of activities to do throughout the week as some of us thrive of a structured routine or like to be busy.

**Other information?**
- We have a house vehicle which we also like to use regularly for day trips out in the community.
- We also have a sensory room on the top floor of our house which we like to host discos in and do arts and crafts together.
- Minimum staffing would be three staff members on shift all day, however it is one night staff and one sleep in overnight.
- It depends on our activities scheduled in for the week but our normal staffing levels are 3/4 staff between the hours of 7am and 9pm then one sleep in staff from 9pm to 7am.
- We would expect you to be interested in the activities that we enjoy and support us on a day to day basis. You should be caring, friendly and empathetic. We will train you in all mandatory training as well as autism, learning disabilities and mental health to ensure you support us to our full potential.

If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.

We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.
