Support Worker Team Leader

We are working with a prestigious care provider who is looking for a **Support Worker Team Leader **on a full-time permanent basis who will be responsible for the care of a young female who needs support with living her life safely and independently in the community. Evening and weekend work expected when required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Have a strong value led and person-centred practice focus derived from experience of delivering support services for people with complex needs.
- Lead, drive and empower the support team to work together to meet individual outcomes and the supported person’s life, ensuring their voice is always heard.
- Have ultimate responsibility for staffing levels, recruiting appropriately in a way that is proactive, planned, and personalised and ensuring staffing levels are adhered to at all times.
- Be part of an on-call system providing support to the supported person.

**Skills and Abilities/Requirements**
- Computer literate (competent in Word, Excel).
- Proven track record of supervisory/senior experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Demonstrate an understanding of learning disabilities and a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with learning disabilities and other complex support needs.
- Full current driving licence and willingness to drive own vehicle, supported person or company vehicles.

**Experience/Qualifications Required**
- SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Minimum.
- SVQ Level 3 Management (or equivalent) Minimum.

OR
- Commitment to achieve qualifications within the agreed timescale for registration purposes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
