_**Treating Tobacco Dependency - Specialist Practitioner**_

**Site** Trafalgar House, Dudley

**Contract** Fixed term: 12 months **Hours** FT/ PT

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, motivated healthcare Practitioner with expert specialist knowledge to support professional clinical leadership in relation to our Trust’s Tobacco Replacement/ Smoke Free Programme.

The individual will support the Corporate Nursing Team in promoting, supporting, educating and implementing BCHFT Smoke Free Policy. This will involve offering clinical education around Tobacco Replacement.

You will offer clinical support and guidance to staff, service users and system partners, playing a key role in the programme implementation. You will be required to actively support the development of the Tobacco Treatment Pathway across inpatient and community services providing updates and progress reports to key working groups and assurance committees.

**Person specification**

**Essential criteria**
- Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level supplemented by post registration diploma level specialist training and/or short courses or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty
- Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice

**Desirable criteria**
- Non-Medical Prescriber (if professionally appropriate)
- Knowledge and understanding of Trust Strategy relevant to role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £35,392.00-£42,618.00 per year
