Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled specialist nurse practitioner to join our Neuro Pathway team as a Lead Parkinson's CNS. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, specializing in Parkinson's disease, and will be able to lead the management of patients with Parkinson's disease in the community.

About the Job

As a Lead Parkinson's CNS, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and supporting patients with Parkinson's disease in the community. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.

You will have a strong understanding of the needs of patients with Parkinson's disease and their families. Your expertise will include non-medical prescribing, clinical decision-making, and leadership skills. You will be committed to ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Parkinson's disease management.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be a confident leader who can inspire and motivate others to achieve exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients with Parkinson's disease
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and support in the community
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC
  • MSc in relevant clinical area or equivalent post-graduate courses/experience
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £51,570 - £64,997 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and flexible working options.
