We are currently working alongside a successful company based in Cardiff who are looking to take on an experienced **Internal Sales Manager**. This is a full-time permanent role, offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 plus an up to 25% OTE commission scheme based on team's performance and orders converted from warm enquiries.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all quotes are chased and team members are looking for vertical market sales.
- To ensure all work in the department is evenly distributed.
- To act as the key link between the Internal Sales Executives and the Commercial Director.
- To attend meetings with the Field Sales Managers and Commercial Director, to ensure even account allocation.
- To monitor daily sales against daily budget/target and keep internal sales executives informed regarding daily progress.
- Produce regular reports and statistics, for both monthly management meetings and adhoc reporting.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with existing customers.
- To keep up to date with current and emerging trends in relevant products and services.
- To maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including the use of activities to ensure full and up to date information is stored.
- Coach the team daily in order that a common goal is focused upon and the business objectives are met.
- Lead the team by example, cultivating a positive culture and working atmosphere.
- Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements of the department.
- To be involved in the recruiting and training of staff, as per identified learning and development needs.
- Ensure ongoing performance of team members is monitored and feedback is regularly given.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Sales Team Management experience and performance management skills.
- Experience of managing and setting team KPI's, ensuring delivery of targets.
- Experience with either electronics, engineering or the security industry.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilising appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives and defining responsibilities.
- Ability to produce reports and analyse information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative approach to working with others.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
