**Position**:Receptionist

**Reporting to**:Branch Manager

**Location**:Solihull Trade Frames Ltd

**Salary range**:£23,000 per annum

**Contracted hours**:40 hours per week (flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. You will be expected to work such hours as necessary for the performance of your duties.

**Role outline**:
The Receptionist will be expected to deal with general enquiries at the branch (both in-person and by telephone), as well as undertake administrative tasks within the branch.

This is an office-based job using a computer.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all queries are handled with the highest level of customer care
- Handle new customer enquiries
- Carry out day to day administration duties
- Maintain and file new account paperwork
- Create customer forms and ensure that they are returned in a timely manner to enable appointments to be booked
- Establish a positive customer relationship to maintain and enhance the Company’s reputation
- Effectively advise all potential and existing customers on the branch’s products and ensure that all outstanding queries are answered to an exceptional standard
- Respond to difficult situations in a calm and patient manner, and feel confident in asking for further assistance from the Branch Manager (if and when required)
- Ensure that all branch product knowledge is accurate, detailed and up-to-date in order to provide all potential and existing customers with an outstanding sales experience
- Process and accept payments from all customers in an efficient manner
- Ensure that all sales documentation is entered and stored correctly (to the highest standard)
- Ensure that the shop floor is kept clean and tidy, with all housekeeping standards prioritised and maintained
- Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety standards in line with statutory legislation and Company policy

**Person specification**:

- Able to develop excellent working relationships with existing and potential customers
- Able to work to tight deadlines (accurately and quickly)
- Highest standard of written English and good proof-reading skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and prioritise deadlines and delivery
- Possess basic computer literacy skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to communicate clearly at all levels
- Able to respond to a difficult situation and feel confident in asking for further assistance (if and when required)
- Able to prioritise and maintain housekeeping standards
- Willing to learn
