Purpose of the Job:

- To create and manage assigned customer format specifications, and all other related customer documentation and artwork throughout the product lifecycle
- To be the first point of call to handle customer spec related queries should they arise.
- To ensure all data generated is accurate, fully compliant with customer policies and on time in order for successful launches
- To be in a position to travel to customers’ sites in support of the commercial and/or quality team as needed.
- To challenge and push back issues and queries when facts are not transparent or appear to be incorrect.
- To ensure that there is Quality, NPD and operational approval throughout the artwork approval process.
- To ensure a “Right first time” approach to the specification writing process is followed
- To utilise various data (e.g. nutritional results, micro etc.) sources to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
- To ensure internal data base (SAP) is maintained at all times

Results:

- Timely delivery of customer documentation requests as per customer requirements and internal SLA’s
- On time implementation of any required legal or regulatory changes
- Full alignment between customer documentation and SAP RM (CSM source of data)
- Efficient and effective management of specifications, artworks and customer portals

**Experience**:

- Experience of Food Specification generation for major retail customers, including online portals - including applicable formal training and qualifications
- Experience of Recipe Management Systems (SAP).
- Working experience of EU food labelling legislation.
- Ability to maintain and develop excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, manage expectations and build consensus with both internal and external stakeholders.
- English speaking with very good communication skills internal departments / teams & external suppliers, auditors, trainers & customers
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- A second EU language desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of SAP desirable.
- Bakery product experience desirable
