**Job Title**: Operations Controller

**Reporting to**: Operations Manager

**Location**: Riccarton, Edinburgh

**Overall purpose**

The Control Centre is the backbone of our operation, and as part of our team you will be required to work to the highest standards to ensure its continued smooth day to day running. The role is dynamic, interesting and can be fast paced.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the effective management of daily bookings.
- Handle any logístical issues that may arise, e.g, delayed flights etc.
- Manage all types of bookings and Financial Roadshows and assist with Event Planning.
- Maintain Vehicle Maintenance records and vehicle tracking.
- Investigate bookings and solve problems
- Undertake general ad hoc administrative duties
- Car parking, Ensure car parking costs are kept to minimum, Monitor Chauffeur usage and report
- Maintain an awareness and adhered to Health & Safety policies

KEY SKILLS

**Essential**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to wide range of duties
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work as part of a team but also be comfortable working alone.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Work well under pressure
- Geographic knowledge of Edinburgh and Scotland
- Problem solving skills

**Desirable**
- Previous experience in ground transport logistics and planning.
- Interest in travel and tourism.

**Job Type**: Full time

**Work Pattern**:

- 3 days on 3 days off (Daily 12 Hour shifts with core working times being 08.00 to 20.00 hrs but with a degree of flexibility and with the option of hybrid working at the weekends )

Additional days / hours at peak times and holiday cover may be required

**Remuneration**:

- From £26,000 to £28,000 depending on Experience and reviewed after Probationary Period
