**JOB DESCRIPTION 1stSeptember 2023**

**Hours of Work**:

- 5:00am to 12:00 noon, 32.5 hours per week.

or
- 2:00pm to 9:00pm, 32.5 hours per week.

**Duties**:

- General Office cleaning, inc toilets, kitchens warehouses and schools
- Possibly some working at height
- Carpet cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- Oven cleaning
- Staff training
- Delivery of cleaning materials, equipment and consumable items
- Assisting with general handy man/janitor duties
- Leaflet distribution
- Ensuring that all sites attended are cleaned in accordance with specifications and more importantly customer requirements.
- Provision of cleaning services in the absence of site based operatives due to holidays, sickness, staff shortages or other absence.
- Provision of cleaning services to clients who’s requirements do not suit the employment of a permanent site based operative.
- Provision of cleaning services to cover ad-hoc or temporary service provision agreements.

**Training**

Full training will be offered in all aspects of the work to be undertaken. In addition we offer supplementary training in:

- Safeguarding
- Lone working
- H & S
- COSHH, RAMS
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- GDPR
- Working at Height, MEWP
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness

**Work Schedules**:
Ace Cleaning Company utilise an electronic mobile app system to notify operatives of weekly schedules though additional instructions may be issued via a telephone call without notice.

You will be required to work both alone as well as part of a team from time to time and must be comfortable in both situations. Self-motivation and discipline is important.

**Level of Service**:
Whilst we acknowledge that some of the sites you are required to provide cleaning services may only be for a short period, from a single day to a full period of cover for holidays or staff shortages, may result in a lack of ownership or responsibility for the services provided it is paramount that the work undertaken is at all times of the highest possible standard and has to exceed customer expectations at all times. Customers should not feel they are receiving an inferior service just because their regular cleaner is not available.

**Remuneration**:
£12.00 per hour. Paid Monthly

A company vehicle will be supplied for use to complete duties. A full driving licence is a prerequisite for this position.

20 days paid holidays per annum plus statutory bank holidays.

An opportunity does exist for development into Supervision or Management role.
