**Key responsibilities of a Shunter/fuel/Cleaner**:
**Full UK Driving licence is required for this role.**

**Shunting on to pumps**: This task involves looking after the run-in area from the entrance gate to the fuel bay. Vehicles awaiting fuelling should be parked in an orderly line approaching the fuel pump area. List of defect buses is provided at beginning of shift to be completed. Whilst sweeping the interior, you notice the floor is sticky through spilt fluids then the area should be mopped.

**Parking**: Checking that all windows and doors are closed, you will collect the vehicle from the fuel bay ensuring it has no defect, drive through the wash, and park the vehicle in the designated area for its next duty. If you find that the vehicle has a defect slip present in the holder you must hand this into the running shift and leave the vehicle with a defect board in the area outside the workshop. Before leaving the vehicle ensure that the main master switch is off and that all windows and doors are closed. Vehicles should be parked in such a way that you can safely walk around it, so do not park too close to adjacent vehicles.

**Cleaning**:To clean vehicles to comply with our standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly. Carry out daily sweep and cleans with deep interior cleans occasionally. Fuelling, sweeping and mopping. Deep cleaning Vehicles ever 28 days, 4 decs per night shift

**Experience required for a Shunter/Cleaner**:
Comfortable working alone and in a team.

To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures.

Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.

Full UK Driving licence
