My Telford client are looking for Taper and Jointers to join their ever growing team. They are a very busy company, constructing Modular pods on site, that are shipped nationwide as part of of large pre fab construction projects.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities Taper and Jointer**:

- Sealing all joints between plasterboards
- Preparing wall and ceiling surfaces for painting
- Report all quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Risk Assessment and Procedures
- Ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with quality systems and checks

**Experience and Knowledge required of Taper and Jointer**:

- Be able to work at heights e.g. using steps and A-frame ladders
- Working at Height training certificate (preferred, but not essential)
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to use hand tools e.g. scrapers, batch pans and 10” and 12” jointing boxes
- Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
- Taping and Jointer Certificate (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), is preferred but not essential

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend availability
