**Job Title**: Accounts Technician

Key duties/responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- General office/administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Raising sales invoices and issuing monthly statements.
- Assisting with credit control.
- Processing purchase invoices, supplier statements reconciliations and issuing payments.
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT Return.
- Completing payroll and logging information to HMRC.
- Completing CIS/PAYE returns.
- Updating all transactions on Sage 50.
- Creating and updating detailed reports for clients.
- Assisting with the compliance of our ISO accreditations.
- Assisting with renewal and updating all other Accreditations.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
- Managing a filing system.
- Liasing with other staff members in order to organise ongoing work.

Essential Criteria:

- 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365
- 3 years Experience in accounts/SAGE50
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Professional telephone manner
- Good time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£40,000.00+ per year
