Joining our Health and Safety team as **Health and Safety Business Partner** you will play a key part in delivering support to our operational departments with responsibility for driving improvements locally through full engagement and implementation of local EHS committees. You will support the site cultural change program for EHS and work closely with our SMEs to ensure local EHS procedures are aligned to Global Corporate EHS and UK guidance.

Whilst no day within Piramal is the same, some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the departmental business function with advice and support working closely with the operational team in a specific department.
- Conducting ongoing reviews of operations and processes to identify possible hazards, risks, and control measures.
- Develop and Deliver toolbox talks and site level training.
- Tracking and reporting on EHS metrics whilst driving improvements locally through full engagement and implementation of local EHS committees.
- Maintaining an overview of the overall risk assessment framework (General workplace, Manual handling, COSHH, DSEAR, fire risk assessments, etc.) and helping / coaching operational departments to ensure risk assessments are suitable and sufficient.
- Leading and participation in accident, incident, near-miss investigation, and monitoring CAPA status and closure and manage My Safe across allocated area.
- Carrying out workplace inspections across allocated area and contribute to the operational excellence program with respect to EHS integration and behavioural based safety thereby supporting site cultural change program for EHS within business unit areas.
- Auditing of risk management systems for compliance with current and emerging health and safety legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to showcase your ability to form strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience in fast paced environments with the ability to work autonomously and proactively. You will be NEBOSH qualified with experience working within ideally within a Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry. You will take a hands on approach to support our site in developing excellent working practices.
