**We are looking for someone who will.........**
- Be willing to read a story in an enchanting tree tent whilst being interrupted countless times and reading some pages upside down
- Will take a trip down a slide at least 20 times a day
- Have outdoor fun on our pre-school activity roof terrace.
- Visit the duck pond to feed the ducks.
- Listen to a story told by a toddler and piecing the puzzle together - Don't count on a great ending
- Enjoy a 2 hour tea party, sat on tiny chairs, drinking unlimited cups of tea.
- Be prepared for muddy shoes, paint in your hair, and glitter on your cheeks.
- Making laughter a daily priority
- Daily requests to be a different superhero, pack your cape and mask.
- A smile is happiness you will find right under your nose, literally
- The ability to have eyes in the back of your head.

Grunty’s Day Care Nursery is part of the Partington Family and an award-winning Nursery providing a high-quality service, child centred approach, working to meet the needs of all children and their family. **Role**:Early Years Practitioner

**Location**:Grunty's Day Care Nursery

**Hours of Work: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.**

**Salary**:£10.06 per hour - Accommodation included in rate (Accommodation will be on site)

**Live out rate**:£11.56 per hour - No accommodation provided

**Days of work: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Hours and days of work to be discussed at interview. Part-time hours could be considered.**

**Skills, experience and qualities you will need**:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families, and relevant external professionals
- To act as a key person having responsibility for key children and ensure their developmental needs are met and accurately recorded, care routines are carried out and working in partnership with parents.
- To maintain a child centred environment, which is inclusive for all and recognises and encourages diversity, by reviewing displays, resources and room layout with the team, and assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs
- To use observation and reflective practice to contribute to planning and evaluation in the setting
- To maintain children’s safety and wellbeing at all times during attendance at the setting and take any action required, reporting any concerns immediately to the Manager
- To attend staff meetings, supervision, appraisals and relevant identified training
- To keep records as required
- To contribute to any quality assurance programmes

**Important Information**
- Applicants must have a recognised and appropriate Level 3 qualification
- Qualification and experience in an early years setting - **Essential**:
