This role, Tech Foresight Client Engagement Executive, suits a versatile, future-thinker with a business mindset. Someone who enjoys making the future meaningful for corporate audiences. **Duties and responsibilities**:
In this Tech Foresight Client Engagement Executive role there are three areas you will cover as part of the team:
- Technology Insights_ includes developing technological insights, delivering work packages, researching future change to contextualise technological, performing research e.g., interviews, organising research and documenting it.
- Content Development for industry audiences_ includes creating compelling and engaging communications, maintaining material in the asset library, content delivery activities, contributing to marketing communications, building relationships with the academic community, expanding our toolset and working with external service providers.
- Delivery of client engagements_ including engagement logistics and delivery, workshop facilitation, presenting on the future, engaging with executives, project management and supporting Imperial business development activities.
Making exciting things happen between Imperial and our clients requires logístical and operational work. This means, as examples, finding and building relationships with academics, contributing to event running tasks, writing and presenting. We are a small do-what-needs-to-be-done team.
**Essential requirements**:
To do this successfully you will have:
- Experience in developing and delivering content for corporate facing engagements.
- Evidence of multidisciplinary expertise and knowledge in understanding different technical disciplines.
- Experience of analysing a wide range of emerging technologies
- Excellent communications skills - highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write narratives about future impact of technologies and present these visions to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent listening skills - with the ability to draw out in depth feedback from academics and IBP members, monitor their satisfaction, gathering detailed intelligence through dialogue.

This is a full-time permanent position.
- The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite.
