Our client is a leading UK law firm who are growing their current team and recruiting a new Compliance Lawyer. This will be a generalist position supporting on all compliance-related issues.

To be considered for this role you will need knowledge of the SRA code of conduct in relation to compliance, and you will have ideally also worked in a law firm compliance role. This role can be performed in various offices throughout the UK on a hybridbasis.

Some of the duties will include:

- Advising on engagement terms in relation to confidentiality issues
- Drafting policies relating to operational and regulatory issues for the firm
- Recording and reviewing SRA breaches
- Liaising with the wider compliance team to ensure information barriers and confidentiality protocols are correctly implemented
- Updating relevant policies and procedures
- Identifying wider commercial and reputational risk issues
- Responding to day-to-day queries on claims & complaints, data protection, conflicts and ethical issues
- Liaising with relevant third parties
