**SALARY: PS16 per hour**

A vacancy has arisen for a regional Civils Operative, to join S&B Utilities. The post will support project delivery across all sites both regionally and nationally, hours of work will be to suit the business requirements.

S&B Utilities are involved in many engineering disciplines, working in exciting areas such as the Ministry of Defence and the regulated water industry.

**_The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - _**

To execute work in a safe manner meeting quality specifications

Follow basic instruction to complete the required activity

Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer/ client focus

Assisting in delivering works on time

Identifying efficiencies and innovations where possible

A willingness to undertake industry training and specialist training

CSCS Card (minimum green card)

Level 2 NVQ Certificate Construction and Civil Engineering Operations

EUSR Water Hygiene (training would be provided)

EUSR Deep Excavations (training would be provided)

Basic knowledge of temporary works equipment and solutions (Shoring/ Propping/ Falsework/ Fencing/Hoarding)

Confined Space Training (training would be provided)

Full UK Driving License

Basic computer knowledge

Basic knowledge of occupational health & safety (manual handling/ COSHH/ HAVS)

Basic knowledge on environmental awareness (Spill controls/ fueling plant)

Team Player, also the ability to work on your own initiative.

Practical, logical, adaptable with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Flexible

Positive attitude towards safety and reporting unsafe conditions

Tolerant of diverse working conditions and situations
