A vacancy has arisen for a Civils Operative, to join our team at S&B Utilities. This position will appeal to an individual looking to expand their skill base within the water sector.

S&B Utilities as a group of companies are involved in all major civils and engineering sectors, working in exciting areas such as Ministry of Defence and regulated water industry.

**_The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -_**

- **
- Covering all aspects of water services installations including mains laying, ducting work including draw pit construction and reinstatement.
- It will involve a varied range of tasks and excavation techniques including both mechanical mans and hand digging.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, occupational health and environmental performance
- Provide weekly reports on safety, plant and labour performance
- Organise resources for daily activities
- Organise plant and material requirements for site activities

- **
- **Water industry knowledge**:

- EUSR National water hygiene card
- Relevant industry skills card or qualifications (CSCS/NVQ/City and Guilds)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Practical, logical, adaptable and an ability to remain calm under pressure

A strong background of the water industry is preferred
