**IT Support Engineer - Azure/ Cloud - Stoke-on-Trent**

**IT Support Engineer required** for a growing organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing technical 3rd line support to the organisations internal end users, ensuring that all service requestsand internal ticket queries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

You will also be responsible for the deployment of robust, flexible, technical solutions in accordance with solution designs, whilst coaching and educating the user base on new technologies where necessary.

**Key Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Respond to all incidents in a timely fashion operating within service level agreements, ensuring adherence to all service management processes.
- Ensure that all end user incidents are clearly logged in the incident reporting tool, capturing resolution details as appropriate.
- Search documentation and previous requests for assistance on related incidents, looking for trends \ patterns to establish possible solutions.
- To aid the systems and test analysis process teams by undertaking testing activities as required on an occasional basis.
- Test innovative solutions and modifications utilising appropriate hardware and software environments, as required, ensuring that all testing is undertaken in line with agreed company processes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with the company change management processes as required.
- To recommend process or working practice changes to the management team to help remove redundant or over-engineered processes.

**Key Skills required**:

- At least 2 years' experience in a 2nd line IT support role.
- Strong customer service experience with exceptional communication skills with ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience of Microsoft desktop operating systems.
- Desktop \ laptop builds \ deployment experience.
- Experience of remote software management.
- Experience and knowledge of a range of cloud technologies.

**Salary**:
Our client is offering a salary of £29,000 - £32,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, and flexible working opportunities.
