Distribution Planner

**Job Title: Distribution Planner**

**Location: Severnside, Avonmouth**

**Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience**

**Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and plan project activities, ensuring collaboration with other project stakeholders to implement agreed changes efficiently.
- Research, identify, and implement enhancements to distribution systems and processes.
- Provide advice, training, and assistance to stakeholders regarding distribution systems and processes.
- Engage with vendors and customers to promote the benefits of the TMS system and ensure its optimal use.
- Maintain the integrity of data within TMS and related systems, assisting with SPOT 2023 taskforces related to distribution.
- Coach and mentor team members, colleagues, and vendors to maximize their potential and contribution towards achieving business targets.
- Extract and utilize accurate data from systems to build and distribute relevant reporting, leading by example to ensure regular and effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, providing team coverage as needed.
- Support the team with the ongoing rollout of TMS, identifying opportunities for beneficial changes to the business.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a distribution planning or similar role.
- Must possess a Transport Operations CPC (National and International).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Must have own transport due to the location of the workplace.
