Distribution Planner

To efficiently plan and organise the delivery of haulage services to both internal and external customers. Support the Distribution Team in executing their transport strategy, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of the right vehicle type to drive our client’s competitiveness and growth ambitions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and plan project activities.
- Research, identify, and implement improvements to distribution systems.
- Engage stakeholders, promote TMS benefits.
- Ensure data integrity in TMS and related systems.
- Support SPOT 2023 task forces.
- Coach team members, extract and distribute accurate data for reports.
- Work with stakeholders on short, medium, and long-term plans.
- Provide cover for the team.
- Support TMS rollout phases.

**Requirements**:

- Waste industry knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of distribution and logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of Steadtler TMS and MM.
- Financial awareness.
- Strong communication.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving track record.
- Stakeholder persuasion/influence
- Transport Operations CPC (National and International)

**Hours**: 08h00 till 16h30 (37.5 hrs p/week) _Weekend/bank holiday work will be required from time to time and an on-call rate will be paid in these cases_
