HR Advisor

**Salary**: £28,000 -30,000

Location: North Notts

Reporting to the Grp HR Manager and working as part of a close knit HR team, this role covers full operational HR generalist duties across a couple of sites.

This is a busy role and will be a great opportunity to gain HR experience in ER, Recruitment (end to end), data monitoring, absence management, supporting Managers with disciplinaries, HR policy and procedures, working closely with a number of different stakeholders at different levels of seniority and working on HR projects. The HR Advisor roles offers certain autonomy and responsibility but with the added advantage of working closely with the Grp HR Manager in an close knit HR team.

THE ROLE:
Working in a busy office this role offers a great opportunity to be involved in a truly operational HR generalist role working for an experienced Grp HR Manager.

The role covers monitoring and updating the HR system and maintenance of HR records / employee files / GDPR

Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, initiatives and systems, providing HR advice and guidance to management and staff

Reviewing and managing new starter and leaver processes, including conducting exit interviews

Responsible for recruitment documentation

Assisting in writing and updating Job descriptions

Monitoring probationary periods, coordinating annual Occ Health assessments

Monitoring absence, absence management

Assisting with HR project work, recording staff one to ones and annual appraisals

Assist in compiling and reporting accurate HR data/trends etc

Working on HR projects

Multi -site Taking responsibility for HR when on regional site visits

THE CANDIDATE:
Ideally CIPD 3 or 5 (or working towards)

Working knowledge of IRIS HR system

Strong ER experience

Excellent employment law knowledge and up-to-date

Recruitment experience (end-to-end)

Note taking in disciplinaries

Capable of visiting sites where you are the go to HR person

Good with HR systems and Excel spreadsheets

Min 2 years HR experience / working in HR dept

Ability to work with mínimal supervision,

Confident, discreet and confidential,

Available at short notice
