**The Role**:
As a Treasury Assistant you will have ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations for control accounts and undertake project work as required eg, new stores/ways of banking/business wide reporting. Assist stores, Ops and Risk teams with queries. You will also work closely with other members of the Finance team.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Balance Sheet accountability ensuring all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time, with risks mitigated.
- Review, develop and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and develop strategies to maximise efficiencies.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required.
- Develop knowledge of all Treasury functions with a view to being able to cover/assist colleagues, across the brands.
- Assist team where required with posting transactions, processing vouchers, responding to inbox queries etc.
- Identify IT issues within Treasury and resolve, track progress and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure that weekly reports to Ops team are distributed in a timely and accurate way.

- You should be able to multitask and manage multiple projects.

- Action orientated, able to spot opportunities and create plans to 'make things happen'.
- Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Finance experience.
- Excel/Google Suite intermediate level skills ideal.
- Navision system experience preferential.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong controls mind-set.
