In the role of EAA Assessor you’ll predominantly be based at Waterfront but will work across all sites your focus will be on assessing students for EAA, completing the Form 8 accurately and in a timely manner to meet external and internal deadlines.

Your key responsibilities will be; completing assessments in a timely manner, accurately recording outcomes of the assessment and liaise with SEND, Exam and curriculum teams.

You must have a post-graduate course at or equivalent to Level 7, including at least 100 hours relating to individual specialist assessment; or a current SpLD Assessment Practicing Certificate as awarded by Patoss, Dyslexia Action or BDA and listed on the SASC website and have a previous experience in undertaking EAA assessments. It is important that you understand SEND needs and are able to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
