We’re working in partnership with a West-Midlands university as they seek an an All-Rounder Printer and Finisher to join their print department, based out of their production facility in Kings Norton. This is a great role with the opportunity to use a wide range of equipment, this department creates all documents, leaflets, letters and posters used by the university.
In this role you will be working set hours, Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 16:45 and Fridays 08:30 - 16:30.
The Role
- Producing orders varying from leaflets and letters to large format printed materials.
- Setting up and operating a variety of both print and finishing equipment
- Taking orders from start to finish, overseeing the entire process to ensure high quality results.
- Assisting with workflow planning and maintaining equipment to maximise output.

The Person
- Proven practical experience in a similar role within the print industry.
- Able to respond effectively to changing priorities as they arise.
- Able to work effectively with mínimal management guidance/supervision and use of own initiative.
- Able to think on their feet and work at pace with a meticulous eye for detail.

Salary + Benefits
The salary for this role starts at £22,000 - £23,500 based on experience.
Other benefits include 40 days annual leave (this includes Bank Holidays and University ‘closed days’), there is the option to purchase up to 10 extra days holiday too. You also get free on-site parking, great pension contributions, retail discounts with high street shops, private health insurance, and more.
