**Teaching Assistant Needed**

One of the Primary Schools we work closely with is currently looking for an SEN TA to join them part time for the next academic year. The school is centrally located in Lydney and is a lovely Church of England School, holding approximately 209 students. The ages for this range between 4-11. The behaviour from pupils is excellent and there is a lovely sense of community. Staff make extra effort to support students and make sure they feel comfortable to express their opinions and be themselves.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant for the next academic year, which will be starting on September 4th. This position is being offered on a part time basis Monday-Friday, with the hours each day being 8:30-12, totalling to 17.5 hours per week. The school are looking for someone to support the learning of a student in year 2. The role would also include generally supporting anyone who needs additional support within the class, but your main focus would be your 1:1. You need to be a team player and have excellent communication skills and the ability to commit yourself to the role.

What will you do on a daily basis?
- Support the teacher in their teaching of the class, ensuring any tasks are completed which would aid the lesson plan.
- Ensure students are supported in their learning, any 1:1 support being provided if this is needed.
- The role is likely to include taking students out in small groups to provide them with additional support.
- Providing supervision of the students over break times.
