**Do you have a working knowledge and an understanding of theatre practices? Can you provide effective administrative and logístical support? Do you know what it takes to support putting on a show? Can you work efficiently in a pressured, deadline driven environment?**

We are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator to be a central point of contact between the Technical and Production team and all other departments within the RSC, where you will play a vital role in supporting the effective planning, coordination and delivery of productions and technical operations.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director and Head of Production, some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide comprehensive and effective administrative support to the Production Office and Technical Departments, including specific support to the Technical Director and Head of Production taking into account: organising meetings, taking minutes, scheduling, actions follow up and diary management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between freelance production managers and RSC's systems, processes, and personnel.
- Administer freelance recruitment and contracts.
- Manage and administer the Timesheet system for the Production & Technical Departments.
- Coordinate the production storage and scenic disposal.
- Administer the booking system for internal transport in collaboration with the Workshop Manager.
- Liaise with the Finance Department to create accounts and purchase orders for suppliers.
- Collaborate with Producers, Learning and National Partnerships, Development, and Creative Placemaking and Public Programmes departments to facilitate the sharing of production details across the organisation.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

- Good working knowledge and understanding of theatre practices and administration
- Great organisational and data management skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Discrete and able to deal with sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
- Able to work in a busy, deadline driven, pressurised environment

This a full time, permanent position, based in Stratford upon Avon. You will be working 40 hours per week, which will include occasional evening and weekend work.
