Prestwick Care is looking for a compassionate healthcare assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, and willing to care for residents with a person led approach

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting with daily personal care needs, including:

- Communicating with clients and relatives in a kind and empathetic manner
- Documenting new client information and observations
- Reporting any care needs and changes to the nurse or senior in charge promptly
- Documenting diet and fluid intake and care interventions in real time
- Maintaining high standards of personal care and wellbeing
- Making a difference every day by knowing your team and residents well
- Maintaining the homes cleanliness and organisation within rooms.
- Assisting team members and visiting professionals as needed.
- Ability to work independently when needed.
- An understanding and passion of those living with Dementia
- Must be able to follow instructions and work as a team player.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Health Care Experience Preferred.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as healthcare assistant or similar position preferred. NVQ in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: From £10.92 per hour
