As the Anti-Social Behaviour Coordinator, you will assist Tamworth Community Safety Partnership to deliver one of its key priorities to reduce youth anti-social behaviour, (ASB) and prevent young people entering the youth justice system.

Flexible working covering 37 hours per week including evenings/weekends. It is anticipated that a significant amount of work would be done outside school hours and at weekends.

The length of this fixed term contract is 23 months.

As the Anti-Social Behaviour Coordinator:

- You will help reduce Youth ASB in the borough through a preventative and early intervention model, in collaboration with a range of agencies.
- You will work with the Prevention team, under the supervision of Staffordshire Youth Offending Service to respond to ASB that has been identified through our links with schools and Tamworth Community Safety Partnership.
- This role is a new opportunity to work with police, PCSO's and partner agencies to help to reduce antisocial behaviour in the Tamworth district.
- You will support children and young people who are coming to the attention of police for anti-social behaviour in the Tamworth district by diverting them away from negative behaviour and into constructive activities in the Tamworth district.
- You will manage the children allocated to you and work holistically with families and schools to improve outcomes for this cohort of children.

An outgoing, friendly personality who is able to communicate effectively with children and young people and to build effective trusting relationships.

An ability to build close networks with voluntary agencies and find other activities in the Tamworth District to link children into, to help to reduce negative behaviour in Tamworth.
